For example your book sells for $20. The shipping charge is normally $2.00 and the packaging fee is $1.00. Bookworm Exchange and you will split $17.00.
Q: Can I donate items that do not sell? A: Bookworm Exchange will take your books to a charity and pick up a tax receipt for you.
Q: Can I get back the items that do not sell? A: Yes. You need to indicate at the beginning that you would like to claim any unsold items. You are responsible for picking up the items within 7 days of the consignment period.
Q: What kind of books do you accept? A: Bookworm Exchange accepts hardback, paperbacks, and textbooks in good, very good or like new condition. The book must have an ISBN number. At this time we do not accept antique or vintage books. Hint: If the author's photo is on the back cover, it will have a better chance of selling if it is a 2001 or 2002 copyright.
Q: What is the minimum amount of items accepted? A: 50 items for pickup service in the Chicagoland area, no minimum for drop off.
Q: What other items do you accept? A: Audio books, CD's, Videotapes, DVD's, electronics and computer accessories.
Q: Can I buy items from Bookworm Exchange? A: Not at this time.
